IntroductionVasundhra Sintered (P) Ltd is engaged in manufacturing of various Ferrous and Non Ferrous Sintered Metal Bearings, Sintered Bushes and Sintered Parts and catering to a wide range of Industrial applications like Automotive assembly, White good applications, Sewing Machine, Locks, Motors, Business Machine, Stationary Products, Textile to name a few. The entire process is carried out in an utmost modern unit situated close to Delhi.PromotersThe promoters of the company are rich with techno commercial experience. The promoters are qualified to accept the challenge of Power Metallurgy as they have completed their Masters in Engineering specializing in Powder Metallurgy. They are well equipped with the knowledge to understand their capabilities, their strength as well as their limitations. Advantages of Powder Metallurgy The process of Powder Metallurgy (PM) envelopes wide range of applications. PM process has various advantages to offer as compared to other conventional processes:- Huge Quantum in relatively very less time.
- Complex Shapes which otherwise would require high end machining
- Precision in dimension with close tolerances
- Repeatability of precision
- NO scrap generation
- Self Lubrication Properties
- Flexibility in material composition to attain specific mechanical & physical properties
- Advantages in Cost
Considering the above advantages, the use of sintered products has increased many folds in the toughest, most quality stringent and cost automotive industry alone in recent years.
Range of Products
The company has developed a strong range of over two thousand components, weight ranging from 0.2 gms to 350 gms and height ranging from 2.25 mm to 65 mm. The product portfolio contains plain bushings to structural components for shock absorber piston, gears, cams and levers. We manufacture Sintered Bronze, diluted bronze, plain iron and alloyed iron components with hardness to the tune of HRB 110. With developments of tools, new products, new markets, new opportunities and new avenues can open up. - Sintered Bearings and Bushes for Motors, pumps etc.
- Sintered Bearings for automotive starter application
- Sintered Bearing and parts for mixers, grinders, juicers, jars, etc
- Sintered Bearings & products for the application of Shock Absorber as pistons and rod guides
- Sintered Bearing and components for Tractor applications
- Sintered Bearings and parts for Locks, power tools, etc
- Sintered Bearing & parts for rotors, cams, gears
- Sintered Gears for Oil Pumps and Rotors
- Sintered Bearings and parts have replaced many components which were previously being produced through machining process.
Quality Control
The quality of the product manufactured is monitored at every stage. Right from receiving raw material to final packing and dispatch of finished goods is documented and controlled.
Principle of Self Lubrication
During performance of the components, when the shaft commences rotation, there is an increase in temperature of the bush and the shaft. As per capillary action, due to this rise in temperature, the oil impregnated in the bush forms a thin layer of oil film between the shaft and component. This thin layer of oil is sucked back in the porosity once the shaft is stopped and the system cools down. So this oil film gives excellent lubrication to the system and increases life with no much requirement of assign additional oil.
Note from DirectorThrough this presentation, we intend to provide you with an insight on potentials offered through the process of PM. Due to various constraints, we might not have included certain photographs / products, but emphasis is to portray the flexibilities and possibilities through Sintering Process. If you have any product, which you feel may suit the process of PM, please feel free to discuss.
